| I suppose I should make an actual greeting thread, so I will. Er, am. Whatever. Anyway, hi all. The only skills I really have are creativity (And I'm sure you have a lot of people for that), but I'll try to do what I can with the little I know how to.
P.S.- Apologies for the previous threads. I was getting a head of myself a bit, and being too impatient to look around for answers. : P |

| Happens to the best of us. Welcome to the team. I'm Poisson, one of the less active mods, and any questions should be directed at Scio or anyone else with an orange username, or one of the people in that Top Posters bar to the side. They are most likely to know the answer to what you want to know. _________________ Back for winter break!

I had a dream about Thrive. I am playing as some sort of large headed shark creature in a swamp, and the semi-cartoony look for the game actually looks really good, as though you handed crayons to a professional artist and said to go to work. Fast forward a few million years, and my shark's head is now half it's body, and I am swimming through the ruins of a city, searching for a mate, and I find the most terribly designed creature: frog hands, neon lime-green, a huge but thin body and big googly eyes. Then I realize it is a creature from Spore. Then I realized: We can do this. Avoid a stick-parts-and-call-it-good editor and actually simulate evolution to any degree, and this will be great, even if we have to dumb down the graphics.

| Welcome! Yet again I'm too late to say anything good. I suppose I said that. And don't worry about not looking for answers straight away, lots of people do that... But do read the wiki and the forums. Well, do your best at reading the forums, there's tons of stuff here. But anyway, welcome! |

| Hey there. Don't worry about the postage - I had a misunderstanding with Alaska my first or second day, due to the I read the wiki too fast/maybe not all of it. I'm pretty sure he hasn't held it against me, Welcome to the team. |

| Oh, and Alaska's the one to got to about questions with the Strategy/Tech Tree/Nation Editor. If you can't find him, Tenebrarum is also really knowledgeable in all areas of the game which I'm not. _________________ Remember our goals: simplicity, science, and playability. | Tenebrarum can answer questions on just about everything except the CE - that one's scio's baby. Oh, and I do the translations, if you happen to be bilingual. Just saying. |
