Hey has anyone thought of making this game multiplayer?
This is my idea for it:
There will be (eg 5) servers. Every server is a galaxy!
Players when join the server they will take on 1 planet and start off as a microbe.
They will go through evolution and then start exploring the galaxy aswell as other players.
BUT other players cannot attack you untill u have conquered 5 planets. This also goes for YOU attacking other players.
It would be awesome im just saying.

I remember there were talks about this some time ago, and if I can recollect correctly, it was decided it would be to complex to be achievable or something.

We would need someone to be willing to pay for the servers and bandwidth; it would also be more tricky to program. It also makes lots of our concepts up until now useless, so I'm afraid it's not very likely to happen. Sorry.

First we would need a server. This place will definitely be moddable, but we don't have a server. Or money. Or internet-connectivity capability within the game.
